The Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) is a significant event in the division of Pasay that brings together young journalists to showcase their skills in various categories. This year, several schools achieved notable successes. MES participated in the DSPC held at EDSES last January 20 and 21, 2025. The school recognized its awardees last January 25, 2025 and notable achievements include the following 1ST PLACE PAGSULAT SA AGHAM AT TEKNOLOHIYA by Caitlyn G. De Ocampo and trained by Ms. Maria Trecia B. Constantino 1ST PLACE PAGKUHA NG LARAWAN by Moleen Brianna S. Tayoto trained by Ms. Jenefer A. Peras 4TH PLACE SPORTS WRITING by James Jomari Santiago trained by Ms. Kristine F. Neypes 7TH PLACE PAGSULAT NG BALITANG ISPORTS by Britany Rose Amit trained by Ms. Lourdes Magistrado 2ND PLACE PAGSULAT NG COLUMN by Nina Althea Torres RADIO BROADCASTING ENGLISH CATEGORY TEAM was also awarded 1ST PLACE in Infomercial and 3RD PLACE in Best in Technical Application with the collaborative talent and effort of the following young journalist, Jomar Ramos, Khalil Javier, Lian Vincent Daz, Noa John Loriaga, Carl Justine Avinilla, Precious Lyka Dela Cruz, and Princess Tayas. Jomar Ramos was also awarded as 1ST PLACE in Best News Presenter with the same category these young journalist was trained by Mrs. Ella Mae C. Jacla, Ms. Melvie Bonto, and Mrs Cyrille Bautista.
Division Festival of Talents Showcases Student Excellence
The much-awaited Division Festival of Talents successfully took place at P. Zamora Elementary School and Jose Elementary School on January 10 -11, 2025, Bringing together the brightest young talents from various schools across the divisionof Pasay. The event served as a platform for students to showcase their exceptional skills in different academic and artistic fields. The highlight of the event was the awarding ceremony, where the most outstanding students in each category were recognized. The winners will represent the division in the upcoming Regional Festival of Talents, aiming to bring pride and honor to their respective schools. In this moment talented learners from Maricaban Elementary School brought different awards from various categories in the said festival; EUNZO T. NOLLORA – 4TH PLACE INVITATION CARD MAKING (ICT) trained by Mr. Sonny B. Bulso , PATRICIA H. SIONOMIO – 3RD PLACE STORY TELLING trained by Mrs. Aisa Marcos , CAITLYN LOUISE M. SILANG – 4TH PLACE DISH GARDENING (EPP) trained by Mrs. Evelyn N. Borabo , JOHN DAVID F. RAZONADO 6TH PLACE DRAWING (KDFOT) trained by Mrs Marilyn M. Madia , ADARSH HARELL H. HARIKRIHNA 4TH PLACE READING (DKFOT) trained by Mrs. Jonavie Catajay , and MUHAMMAD RAFIE H. ISMAEL 2ND PLACE IMLAAH (SPELLING) ALIVE trained by Ms. Sarah Dayondong. As the Division Festival of Talents concluded, participants and spectators alike were left inspired by the remarkable performances and innovations displayed throughout the event. The success of this festival further reinforces the commitment of the division to providing quality education that empowers learners to reach their full potential.
