2021 News and Events

Countless Blessings from our stakeholders marks the start of the SY 2021-2022 through Brigada Eskwela.

Everybody is deeply affected by the situation that we have right now which is the Covid-19 Pandemic. Even our daily activities and source of living is highly affected by it. The new school year is fast arising yet many of the learners are not yet ready and capable of their needs for their online classes. But still there are many people and organizations who are still eager to help and give some to this unfortunate learners. Every year Brigada Eskwela marks the start of new school year and this year countless blessing are already pouring not just for the school but also for the learners and teachers of Maricaban Elementary School. The first set of stakeholders and donors of the school are very generous with their own ways in giving such different donations which is really beneficial to everyone in the MES community. The school is very thankful for all these blessings from the Naval Combat Engineer Brigade headed by their OIC LT JUBIE GAIL S JAVIER PN, GEMS Heart Foundation, Councilors Allan Panaligan,  Donna Vindivel, and Wowee Manguerra to the parents and guardians of our learners and to some private individuals who also handed their support and donations  for our school. Even the littlest donation would mean a lot for our school, teachers, and learners. 

MES SBM LEVELS UP THIS YEAR

Commitment and devotion are just some of the keys to unlock another achievement. This year the SBM (School Based Management) live through another assessment to pull off the Level 3 this year. MES SBM was in Level 2 last year and now it is already categorized as Level 3. With all the hard work and determination to achieved that level the SBM team with the guidance of Ms. Eden Dioquino, school principal undoubtedly they reach the level 3. To further enhanced the school’s SBM it is now under into another project this year which is called as D-SBM or Digitalized School Based Management.

MES NAKASUNGIT NG MGA PARANGAL MULA SA MAPEH/AP VIRTUAL FESTIVAL 2021

Mahirap man ang kalagayan ng ating sistema sa edukasyon ngayon ay hindi parin tayo nagpapatinag rito. Sa halip mas ipinapakita natin ang ating determinasyon para maipagpatuloy ang mga programa at nakasanayang paligsahan taon-taon ngunit hindi na sa nakagawiang pamamaraan kundi sa tinatawag nang New Normal na kung saan ay ginagawa na ang lahat sa virtual na pamamaraan para makaiwas sa kumakalt na Covid-19. Ang MAPEH at AP ay nagsanib pwersa upang maisakatuparan at maganap ang isang programa na kung saan ay naglalayon na maipakita parin ng mga mag-aaral ang kanilang mga natatanging talento kahit na ito ay nasa virtual na pamamaraan at dito ay nasaksihan ng nakakarami ang mga nagkikinangang talentong ito sa pamamagitan ng pag-awit, pagsasayaw, at pag-guhit na ilan lamang sa mga itinampok sa nakaraang MAPEH/AP VIRTUAL FESTIVAL 2021. Sa nasabing paligsahan ay nasungit ni Shane Rutchelle A. Rabago ang Ikatlong pwesto (3rd place)  sa kategoryang Quarantinig, sa pamamtnubay ni Gng. Aisa T. Marcos, Ikalimang pwesto (5th place) naman sa pagsasayaw ng folkdance para sa mga mag-aaral ng ika-anim na baitang na sina Alwenah Enad, Eurie Nollora, Nathan Ogaro at Samantha Dioquino sa ilalim ng pamamatnubay ninan Bb. Kristine Neypes at G. Jayson Tarroquin at Ikalwang pwesto naman ang ibinigay para Cluster 7 na kinabibilangan ng Maricaban Elementary School sa kategoryang Output Exhibit. 

Talua wrap up as 5th Placer in the Virtual Division Math Quiz Bee 2021

Estella Marie H. Talua a Grade Six learner wrap up at first Virtual Division Math Quiz Bee 2021 as 5th placer under the supervision her trainor Mrs. Teresita Apostol. Thus it was not easy to participate in avirtual quiz bee because of the pandemic still Estella showed her eagerness to win the battle. Uncertainty with her abilities and with the help of her trainor she nailed it that day as the 5th placer competing with the other students from the different elementary schools in the Division of Pasay.

Nag-uwi ng karangalan ang mga batang maricaban matapos ang pandibisyong patimpalak  sa larangan ng pagsulat na may temang “ e-Sulat Mo! 2021 Pasay City Schools Press Conference and Contests na  ginanap noong ika 29 ng Hunyo 2021  via Google Meet. Hindi naging hadlang ang pandemya upang makamit nila ang tagumpay na inaasam. Hindi nagpahuli ang mga batang maricaban na sina Alwenah Enad  na nagkamit ng unang pwesto sa larangan  ng pagsulat ng editoryal at Shane Rutchelle Rabago sa larangan ng  feature writing na nakamit ang ikaapat na pwesto na kapwa na sa ika-anim na baitang pangkat Diamond. Hindi rin matatawaran ang kahusayan ng kanilang gurong tagapagsanay na sina Gng. Florence Suratos sa pagsulat ng editoryal at  Bb. Maria Trecia Constantino sa  feature writing upang mahasa ang kagalingan ng mga bata at magbigay karangalan sa paaralan. Ito ay naging posible dahil sa  patnubay ng butihing punong-guro na si Bb. Eden E. Dioquino. Malaki din ang naging ambag ng kanilang magulang na taos puso ang kanilang suporta at gabay sa mga bata  upang mapagtagumpayan ang karangalang nakamit.

"Plant a Seed to Feed Project": Gawad Siklab SPG Best Implementer (Makakalikasan )

MES SPG outstands as the SPG Best Implementer for the Makakalikasan Category because of their project “Plant a Seed to Feed”. This project is an initiative of the Supreme Pupil Government for the SY 2020-2021 under the supervision of their SPG Adviser Mrs. Maria Aiza B. Pimentel and with the guidance of the School Principal Ms. Eden E. Dioquino. This is just one of the project of the SPG this year because of the pandemic they had come up with an idea of creating a hobby with a purpose and could give a benefit to everyone, and this is where “Plant a Seed to Feed” innate. You need to plant any kind of vegetable that you will take good care of until the day come that you can already harvest it and prepare it either for lunch or dinner. This project will really helps a lot to everyone. We can help the environment and at the same time we could also be responsible and could also feed ourselves and family. This project is truly a great one. a hobby that can be sustainable at the same time.

VALIDATION OF SCHOOL BASED MANAGEMENT ONLINE WAS A SUCCESS

It has been the annual practice of the SDO Pasay City to determine the level of practice among schools through School Based Management Validation. School-based management (SBM) is a strategy to improve education by transferring significant decision-making authority from state and district offices to individual schools. It also desires to improve education by transferring significant decision-making authority from state and district offices to individual schools. For the  School Year 2020-2021, this on-going  activity attempts to determine how far the schools have improved and sustained their existing level of practice through presentation of acceptable means of verification (MOVs) manifested through actual or tangible evidences, digital or on-line proofs and other means which the validation team considers appropriate. The validation this year was done in an online platform where in even the members of the SBM team together with the school head Ms. Eden E. Duoquino, some of the schools stakeholders, SPG officers, Faculty President, PTA President, a parent representative and even the Barangay Captain answered he questions thrown to them by the validators headed by Dr. Arturo Tolentino the ASDS of Schools Division of Pasay. To wrap it up the said activity was a success.
